After departing fro Jiu Fen we too a train from SuaoXin station and headed to Hua Lian.

Train!

Being a hot hot day, the train’s air conditioning is epic awesome.

The Train also passed by Taiwan’s coastine along the Pacific Ocean. Not a bad sight really!


After about 1 hour, we arrived in Hua Lian.

This peculiar place does not have sand… Instead, it was all pebbles which made up its coastline.

There were also loads of people fishing out these type of fish.

Remains.

Lantern time!


We were told to write our wishes on the lantern.


Straighten the lantern out…

Attach flammable incense paper.

Torch it!

Wait for hot air to rise!

Off you go!

Taiwanese Instant Noodles

Following the tour guides advice, we went to the nearest convenience store to try out some Taiwanese Instant Noodles.

Holy shit. They had MEAT in them and needless to say, it tasted BRILLIANT.

Do try it when you have the chance!
